How powerful is the united arab emirates?

In many military polls you never see the united arab emirates in the high section of the list but you seems to see places like india but i saw the arab troops in afghanistan and they had very modern equipment and vehicles. And looked very well trained.

1. 73rd largest army in the world, about 50,000 troops, 400+ tanks and 80 aircraft. Not a very formidable force, probably the equivalent of a small eastern European nation like Romania.

4. its the fastest growing ' construction wise' they don't have a strong army so they will not be ''noticed'' by the united states as a powerful nation and therefore be wiped out like Iraq.
