  1. Coz the U.S realised that by being isolationist, they were morally bankrupt.
  2. Are you looking for the answer Pearl Harbour
  3. WWII? FDR had to do something to get America into that war at the behest of the Zionist who wanted to loot our wealth. The entire war was started and organized by the Zionist to get every country into it which would force every country to borrow money from their central banks that the Zionist owned. In America the Zionist had just put in the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 and a year later WWI began. By putting a country into severe debt caused by going to war, all the country would be doing is paying the interest until the end of time. FDR blocked oil from going to Japan deliberately knowing that it would leave Japan with no other option than to attack us. So when the Japs attacked Pearl Habor, which FDR of course let happen, Americans were behind FDR to whip the enemies butts and let FDR, which they were saying no to, go for it. acta est fabula plaudite
  4. I guess you are talking about World War 1. The German u-boats wouldn't let us trade with the allies. The Germans also sent a telegram telling the Mexicans to invade us to return control of the south to them so we wouldn't be able to help the allies.
  5. The US changed when they realized that if they wanted their economy to continue to expand they could no longer be isolated from the global market place. But as with anything the ideals that drove our policies surrounding trade conflicted with other ideologies, which ultimately ended in WWII. (I will spare you the years of research I had to do on this). To be totally cynical the US has never really been isolated. Jefferson went to war w/ the Barbary states, Madison w/ GB, Monroe w/ Mexico and Spain, and on and on and on. So in Washington's farewell address I think he was really the only president in US history to really understand the benefits of isolationism...but it ended with him.
  6. They change their minds because of they were expanding and needed to protect their interest.
